Michel stepped into the role of CEO of Crocus Technology International Corp. in November 2014 from his position as board member. Michel is a successful entrepreneur with extensive semiconductor and telecommunications experience spanning more than 40 years. As CEO, Michel has led several start-ups and turnaround international companies, while serving as venture capital partner in two different investment funds.

Michel has also served as an independent board member of several companies. Among them are CS Communication SA (public French company), Xemics SA, a semiconductor company acquired by Semtech in 2005, and LEA Corporation SA, which was acquired by HF Company in 2005. In 2007, during his tenure at Innovation Capital, Michel launched a business angel fund called the Bluesky Capital fund for IT and e-Commerce companies.
Prior to that, in 1996, Michel led a spin-off engineering group from French semiconductor company Temic/Matra Semiconductor to launch T.Sqware Inc. (network multicore processors start-up) based in Silicon Valley. Lead investors were Walden International, Alta Partners, and Sofinnova Ventures. T.Sqware was acquired by Globespan in 2000.
Before T.Sqware, Michel worked for Matra-Semiconductor as COO in 1983. He was later promoted to CEO in 1989. Matra-Semiconductor was acquired by Temic Group (Daimler Benz Group) in 1992. Michel started his career in Thomson Group as an internal auditor in 1971. In 1981, he joined Fairchild Semiconductor in California as a financial controller, a post he held for two years. Vice President, Worldwide Sales
Wayne Godwin brings 30 years of experience in semiconductor sales to the Crocus team. In previous roles, he served as Vice President, Worldwide Sales, Embedded and Distribution at both Micron Technology and Numonyx, and as Vice President, Worldwide Sales, Embedded Division at Spansion. He was responsible for integrating the worldwide embedded sales teams, and distribution partners, after the merger of Numonyx into Micron. Godwin has also held various sales management positions at AMD and Texas Instruments. He holds an Electrical and Electronic Engineering degree from the University of Plymouth, England.
